I’ve Been Accepted

Congratulations on your acceptance to TCNJ!

We understand that you have a huge decision to make, one that involves several factors and can generate many questions to answer before the national deposit deadline of May 1. Please use this website as a resource and don’t hesitate to contact members of our community; we are here to make it as easy as possible!  If you’re ready to submit a deposit and enroll at TCNJ, log in to PAWS on the MYAPP STATUS page, click on “Self Service” and then “Accept/Decline Admissions”.

*Given limited on-campus staffing, the processing of mailed payments may be delayed. Rest assured, however, that all enrollment deadlines refer to postmark dates. Online payments will be processed faster.*

Important Dates

In the coming months, you will receive fliers from both Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Student Transitions that outline upcoming deadlines, event dates and other action items for students starting at TCNJ in the spring and fall of 2021. Digital versions will be posted below as they are released. Add them to your acceptance folders as you receive them.  You are encouraged to reach out to the offices on the second page if you have specific questions related to that area; the same offices are highlighted on the Helpful Links page.

Financial Aid

New Student Guide to Financial Aid at TCNJ

An undergraduate degree is a big investment in your future.  Fortunately, TCNJ is consistently recognized as one of the best colleges for your money. If you haven’t done so already, submit your FAFSA as soon as possible and include TCNJ’s Federal School Code: 002642.  Estimated award letters will be posted by April 1 for those students who submit the FAFSA and include all required information. TCNJ’s Office of Student Financial Assistance can be reached directly at or 609-771-2211. **Check your TCNJ portal to make sure all required information has been submitted in order to be reviewed for financial aid eligibility.

TCNJ is honored to enroll our military veterans.  Please review this First-Year Student or Transfer Student website for more information about the various funding sources available for veterans who attend TCNJ.

Accepted Student Events

We’ve built out a comprehensive schedule of events for accepted students between now and the end of April. We strongly encourage you to take some time to explore various opportunities to connect with TCNJ’s campus community – virtually and in-person!

Until the CDC, the state of New Jersey and The College of New Jersey’s leadership release updated guidelines, the Undergraduate Admissions office will only offer limited, small-group campus tours. We expect these on-campus opportunities to fill rather quickly, so if no seats are available in the calendar above, we strongly encourage students to explore TCNJ’s campus on their own using our Compact Guide. All campus visitors will have to make TCNJ’s Visitor/Information Booth their first stop on campus to receive health clearance and instructions before leaving their cars. Please note that the availability of visit opportunities can still change as campus health and safety updates are shared with members of our campus community.

Virtual Accepted Students Day

Registration is now open for vASD on Saturday, April 10th! Use your TCNJ application portal log-in to register. A schedule of live Zoom sessions is now posted here. Join our campus community in celebrating your acceptance and connect with other accepted students! We’ll offer a full schedule of sessions, tours, panels and resources that will help you determine if TCNJ is your best-fit. Don’t miss this!

Virtual Tour

We also understand that some students or their family members are currently unable to visit the campus at this time. While it’s incredibly difficult to capture the warmth and beauty of TCNJ’s campus on-screen, we’ve done our best to do so through our new Virtual Tour. Check it out and share it with friends and family who haven’t had a chance to visit.
