I’ve Been Accepted

We understand that you have a huge decision to make, one that involves several factors and can generate many questions to answer before the national deposit deadline of May 1. Please use this website as a resource and don’t hesitate to contact members of our community; we are here to make it as easy as possible!

Important Dates

In the coming months, you will receive more information from Undergraduate Admissions, the Office of Student Transitions, Student Health Services, and other TCNJ departments. This information will highlight deadlines, event dates, and other action items for students starting at TCNJ in the fall of 2023 so keep a close eye on both your inbox and your mailbox! We will post some of this information below as it is released. We strongly encourage you to add information to your acceptance folder as you receive it; students and their supporters have found it useful to accumulate student-specific information in one shared location/resource. You are also encouraged to reach out to the TCNJ offices that are highlighted on our Helpful Links page, as they will serve as valuable resources for you.

Fall 2023 New Students:

Accepted Students Day

Save the date for TCNJ’s Accepted Students Day on Saturday, April 1st! We’ll offer a full schedule of sessions, tours, panels, and resources that will help you feel connected to all that TCNJ’s undergraduate experience has to offer. Take advantage of this unique opportunity to connect with other accepted students as well!

Accepted Student Events

Can’t join us at Accepted Students Day? Or would you like to connect with us more often? Revisit this page in March, when we’ll post an Accepted Student Event Calendar that highlights a series of events specifically for accepted students.

Financial Aid

An undergraduate degree is a big investment in your future.  Fortunately, TCNJ is consistently recognized as one of the best colleges for your money. If you haven’t done so already, submit your FAFSA as soon as possible and include TCNJ’s Federal School Code: 002642.  Estimated award letters will be posted by April 1 for those students who submit the FAFSA and include all required information. TCNJ’s Office of Student Financial Assistance can be reached directly at osfa@tcnj.edu or 609-771-2211. **Check your TCNJ portal to make sure all required information has been submitted in order to be reviewed for financial aid eligibility.

Veterans

TCNJ is honored to enroll our military veterans.  Please review this First-Year Student or Transfer Student website for more information about the various funding sources available for veterans who attend TCNJ.

Virtual Tour

We understand that some students or their family members may not be able to visit the campus. While it’s incredibly difficult to capture the warmth and beauty of TCNJ’s campus on-screen, we’ve done our best to do so through our Virtual Tour. Check it out and share it with friends and family who haven’t had a chance to visit.

Enroll at TCNJ

If you’re ready to submit a deposit and enroll at TCNJ, you can access the PAWS system and click on “Self Service” and then “Accept/Decline Admissions”. Login instructions for PAWS are provided to students after they have been admitted into TCNJ and completed the Enrollment Notification Form in their Application Portal. Ultimately, you will use PAWS to view your financial aid package, your credit evaluations, and select your courses as a current student.

Make your non-refundable enrollment deposit through the TCNJ PAWS system »

If the Office of Student Financial Assistance requests that you log in to PAWS, use this link instead.

Questions about accessing your TCNJ Application Portal and (for admitted students) the PAWS system can be directed to the Office of Admissions at admiss@tcnj.edu or 609-771-2131. Step-by-step Enrollment Deposit instructions are outlined here.
