What we promise

  • To be eligible to apply as a transfer, an applicant must have earned or be in the process of earning at least 12 college credits with a minimum GPA of 2.5. Students seeking admission to some of the more competitive programs may require a higher GPA.
  • Applicants to this program will receive an expedited review of their transfer application and admission decision.
  • Due to space restrictions, we are not accepting applications for following majors at this time: Health and Exercise Science, Nursing, Psychology, and Special Education.
  • TCNJ will waive the application fee for New Jersey Scholar Corps applicants.
  • Standardized test scores are optional for NJ Scholar Corps applicants.
  • TCNJ guarantees acceptance of all credits earned with a grade of C or better at accredited out-of-state institutions, up to a maximum of 80 credits.
  • New Jersey residents have full access to the scholarship and financial aid programs offered by the state of New Jersey.
  • On-campus housing, if desired, will depend on availability at the time a student commits.
  • The service component of this program will be optional. New Jersey Scholar Corps students interested in performing community service will have the opportunity to participate in programs and activities offered through the TCNJ Center for Engaged Learning and Research.
